This Christmas saw Frome Town sit on top of their division at the half way point of the season. The challenge was to come up with a Christmas message and plan that continued the ambition to engage local supporters and give fans the chance to show their pride.
We have been working with the club over the last 3 seasons to build stronger ties between the club officials, players, the fans and the local community. A combination of elements were put together to land between Christmas Eve and Boxing day in the build up to the local derby against another SF Sports client Melksham Town. The first was a sharable image across social media that allowed fans to like and share to show their pride in being top at Christmas. The graphic delivering the Christmas message alongside a visual representation on the league table.
Secondly the club, we challenged with coming up with a Christmas video message from the board and the players to enable fans to have more insights into the people behind the club. Something the club has been doing through the #BA11TV interviews with the players and management teams through the season.
As a result of the engagement and pushing of the Christmas fixture on the 27th the club saw a record 1,103 people (previous best 380) turn out to watch the Robins.
